ROLCH comes from the family behind it — Romana, Lanny and Chiedza. That name goes on every job that leaves our workshop, which is exactly why we don't cut corners.
Trading in Glenfield since 2006
Rolch Automotive Ltd has looked after North Shore drivers from Ashfield St in Glenfield since 2006. Between us we have more than 37 years on the tools, and the work runs from a straightforward Warrant of Fitness right through to complete engine transplants.
Being family-run changes how the workshop operates. You talk to the people doing the work, you hear what we found in plain language, and you decide what happens next. If something can safely wait, we will tell you so — and if it can't, we will tell you that too.
The workshop is equipped with current diagnostic gear, a disc lathe and the tooling to do repairs properly rather than approximately. All our work is guaranteed.

- How long does a Warrant of Fitness take?
- It depends on the vehicle and how busy the workshop is on the day, so we will give you a realistic idea when you book rather than a promise we can't keep. Ring us on 09 443 6805 and we will talk you through the options.
- What should I bring?
- Just the vehicle, the keys and your rego details. If you have had recent work done elsewhere, bring the paperwork along — it helps us understand what has already been looked at.
- What happens if my vehicle fails?
- We will show you exactly what failed and why, and explain what needs doing to put it right. You are under no obligation to have the repairs done here, and nothing gets fixed without your say-so.
- Can I wait on site?
- There is seating in reception, and you are welcome to wait while we work. Let us know when you book so we can plan the job around you.
- Which oils does the $99 price cover?
- The $99 oil and oil filter change covers 10w-30 and 15w-40 oils only. If your vehicle needs a different grade, a larger oil capacity or a specialist filter, we will let you know before we begin.
